Food Security Bill India

With the crippling economy due to International pressure and high price rise of basic commodity in India, our beloved government has come up with a food security bill.

The Salient features of the bill are

  • Government will issue ration cards for priority
  • Subsidised Food Grains to rural households
  • Not less than 46% of all rural households shall be designated as Rural priority Households. Provided,  further,  90%  of  all  rural  households  are  entitled  to  subsidized  food grains.
  •  Subsidised Food Grains to Urban , provided that not less than 28% of all urban households are categorised as Urban Priority Households. Provided,  further,  50%  of  all  urban  households  are  entitled  to  subsidized  food grains.
  • The  State  Government  shall  provide  Priority  Households  whether  Rural  or Urban a minimum of 7 kilograms of food grains per person per month, at a price notexceeding  Rs  3  per  kg  for  rice,  Rs  2  per  kg  for  wheat  and  Rs  1  per  kg  for  millets  at 2011-11  rates,  which  will  not  be  revised  upward  for  a    minimum  period  of  10  years from the date of notification of the Act. Provided that single-member households shall receive a minimum of 14 kilograms of  grain per month at the same prices.
  • Rates for General Households: The  State  Government  shall  provide  General  Households  whether  Rural  or Urban a minimum of 4 kilograms of food grains per person per month, at a price not exceeding 50 per cent of the Minimum Support Price for paddy, wheat and millet.Provided  that  single-member  households  shall  receive  a  minimum  of  8  kilograms of grain per month at the same prices.
  • Now the exchequer will bear the burden of Rs 35000 Crores.
Now See the wonderful effect on the Indian economy

1. Not being harsh on the poor, the bulls of the slowly moving bullock cart economy are the poor people who works the daily labor for making buildings, roads, transportation, daily household helpers, miners, excavators, daily cleaners and other form of labor such as labor for agricultural harvesting. If they are ensured of proper food, the what is the need that will drive the economy ? This is just the form of communism that drove Russia to its current state. Only this time the theory is even worse than communism. Govt. is ensuring that they do not have to work for food.

2. If there are no workers, all the labor cost for available labor will go high as they do not need to work, so if you need the work then hire them with high prices.

3. If there are no workers, lesser people will drive towards quality education as they will have no need for uplifting. So, not only it will make the poor people lazy but also drive them towards illiteracy.

4. If there are no workers, then you will not need any support staff sitting in higher position. So umeployment will rise

5. All the industry, mining and agriculture will stop producing the Rs 35000 crore that Government is planning to spend, so they will extract the money from the developmental projects and defense driving the economy towards meltdown for supporting non working individuals. Exactly that is what happened with MANREGA implementation.

6. The rest 30% who are left from the food security bill will have to work harder than ever to earn for their livelihood because if they are lesser production of food grains and industrial good, the price will rise more high leading to more meltdown of middle class families that drives the economy. To control that the whole Indian economy have to be taken under govt. control.

7. Above all, it will drive towards lesser sanitation.

FOOD SECURITY BILL is just  a way that the Congress and the Gandhi family have decided to gamble the economy for votes in upcoming election. I am scared and I am sure if you read this carefully, you will be scared too. I hope learned fellows of the Government read this carefully before driving our economy and us towards meltdown. Only God knows what kind of economist our prime minister and Finance minister are

" Please!!! Mrs Sonia Gandhi and Mr. Rahul Gandhi just hear my plea and stall the downgrading of our country just to gain popularity and votes "

The Drug trade - A Vicious circle

It has been long since I have uploaded anything on my blog. It's not because I am heartbroken but I was hell busy with work and life. The other day, I was watching a movie and was amazed with highly powerful drug trades all over the world.

Many of you know that taking drugs such as cocaine and heroin is completely banned in all the countries, yet these drug routes and drug trades are flourishing. Today drug trade is  worth hundreds of billion dollars. There are powerful drug mafia all over the world. Dawood Imbrahim is also a kingpin in this trade. His alone drug business in drug trades amounts to more than 5 Billion dollars.

Today, I will try to point out the drug routes and their possible history and current affairs.

Heroin is purified form of an extract out of Poppy opium. The process for purification is carried out with extreme precaution. Poppy seed is easily available in all markets . However, opium poppy growing is strictly regulated. Afghanistan is largest poppy producing country with weather and climate extremely suitable for cultivation. Now you can understand why Taliban attacked that country and why US Army popped in to protect Afghanistan from atrocities while they are sitting silent watching the atrocities all over the world. US army ensured that Poppy farmers are well protected as they are the start point of the drug trade all over the world. Almost all country uses the drug money to run covert operations and election propaganda.

When the Poppy are well grown, they are shipped to European countries, mostly the newly formed countries previously part of USSR. They purify the poppy to make high quality heroin. Then they are shipped out to all the countries where Local mafia takes over the trade.

Cartels, Triads, Mexican drug mafia are major distributors in North America. Brazil, Argentina and other countries in south America buys from Colombians followed by distribution by local drug lord. African continent is pumped with drugs by various foreign governments in order to control their huge diamond reserves and controlling the tribal rebels. In Asia, Japanese mafia and Chinese triads control the drug trades in east Asia. India and Other South Asian countries are under the network of Bombay based Mafia network mainly by the Dawood Ibrahim D' company operating from Karachi, Pakistan.

Now, for heroin users...

The purity decreases with each step. The heroin at streets are mostly adulterated with white castor sugar and flour to make the white powdery heroine. Many small drug traffickers use synthetic powders to lower the cost of adulteration and maximizing the profit. The concentration at street level is less than 10% with lot of unhealthy impurities. So the street heroin is not safe at all

All the drug trading and drug trafficking occurs under the nose of various governmental agencies. If they would have been that serious against drugs at street, they would have stopped poppy cultivation altogether. Now you can understand why the war against terrorism is actually a ploy to protect the billion dollar drugs industry. These all drug money goes for running the election propaganda of the democracies. Therefore, you know these elections are the reason why drug is killing the younger generation.

Sucker Punch

A musical action movie..
**contains spolier***

The movie is based on a type of mental illness where the physically abused makes their own reality to cope up the loss...A typical case of Schizophrenia... just like what was in Shutter Island...

Movie revolves around a character whose mother was poisoned by her stepfather and was constantly under sexual abuse....the mother dies and the girl's baby sister got accidentally  shot by her while trying to rescuing her from their stepfather....and she was put in an mental asylum where she was to be lobotomized. She steps into another reality where she is dancer and moves into another reality where she is fighter performing mission to escape the facility...

Movie has got some brilliant game based special effect...it will keep you glued and keep guessing you for more....but the music is more awesome ....the song sweet dreams is just a song which is healing me up...the music and the Emily Brownings singing is just heavenly..... a combination of trance and rock....

Sometime I really wants to switch to alternate reality where atleast I am no sore loser...at least I can fight for what I want... I never thought it will be so painful as I had been hurt before..but this time embarrassment and  pain both is killing me softly...The girl in the movie was just lucky... that she shifted to alternate reality and fought hard there.. but being sane and in pain.. just never helps one....I know time will heal it up...but each passing moment is getting more and more heavier......Anyways... this time I know I am the one to blame... so not complaining... you will reap what you sowed..

Watch Sucker punch and feel the movie with its music.. you will love it.. and the sucker punch that girl gave to society at end was just so awesome... she was just heavenly and her smile is still lingering inside my head...

I will give it a 5/5 stars for the plot... but may be 4 for the whole movie.. it just shifts abruptly..I guess I have to wait for the promised extended edition...

Sharing the song with ya...

PS: Either go for entertainment or go for the theme.. you may not like both...

Osama Killed in Pakistan

Current report confirms that Osama Bin Laded... leader of Al-Qaida was killed yesterday night in military precise attack on his hideout inside a compound, in Abbottābad, 154 km from Islamabad in Pakistan

US had information about his location since last August and last week  US president authorized the strike ..with 7 days preparation...His wording, and mention of Leon Panetta, the CIA director, strongly suggested that CIA operatives with a small team of US special forces crossed Afghan-Pak border and led a strike on the compound..and killed Osama Bin Laded and took his body in custody.. no civilian and military casualty was reported.

Unconfirmed reports says that eyewitnesses account for 3 helicopter led Operation where the strike was precise and completed within an hour near Islamabad and took several people in custody..

There were reports that US strike took place a week earlier and DNA analysis was awaited but Mr. Obama confirmed that strike took place on Sunday itself.

He in his historic speech said that the fight was against Al-Qaida ..a terrorist orgnisation and not against Islam as Osama was a mass murderer not a Muslim leader..he killed Muslims too in Pakistan and Middle east..
He also mentioned that US haven't forgotten 9/11 and will continue to safeguard USA.. so that no other strike can happen...He also said that Justice was completed with killing of Osama for the 9/11 victims...
He said "We must also reaffirm that United states is not and will never be at war against Islam. Bin Laden was not a Muslim leader, in fact, he slaughtered many Muslims."

It is major victory of US led forces ..Besides September 11, Washington has also linked bin Laden to a string of attacks -- including the 1998 bombings of American embassies in Kenya and Tanzania and the 2000 bombing of the warship USS Cole in Yemen...Both the top military commanders of Al-qaida are dead and Al-Zawahari is the next on list... and he will be down soon.

Though Osama was killed in Pakistan..but US president confirmed that Military cooperation will continue with Pakistan in fighting terrorism as due to them only they got to know the whereabouts of Osama....

It is major news for all of us and I hope perpetrators of 26/11 will also be brought to justice sooner.. so that justice to those people can be served who lost their lives in terror attack on Mumbai...

I am very happy and I hope this terrorism ends soon...
Amen

What is Lokpal Bill ? ? ??

First of all ..Lokpal sounds so lame :|
They should come up with some good name for the post.....

Now what is the fuss all about...
Lokpal Bill was drafted way back in in 1950s and still never been presented in our parliament as it is a serious issue anti corruption bill
What is Jan Lokpal Bill ???

- An institution called LOKPAL at the centre and LOKAYUKTA in each state will be set up
- The main power is  that Lokpal can initiate investigation against anyone
- Lokpal can arrest
- Lokpal can run the trial
- Lokpal needs no permission to touch anyone
- Investigations in any case will have to be completed in one year. Trial should be completed in next one year so that the corrupt politician, officer or judge is sent to jail within two years ...
- If any work of any citizen is not done in prescribed time in any government office, Lokpal will impose financial penalty on guilty officers, which will be given as compensation to the complainant..
-It will be the duty of the Lokpal to provide protection to those who are being victimized for raising their voice against corruption..so they will be needing a force like FBI... :)

OK!!
Now the bill is good but why the bill is necessary.. I don't see a point...

This is just a ploy to get publicity towards Bharat Ratna...
In any democracy you can not make a government to present a bill..secondly who made him our representative..who the hell are these people of civil society ???
The whole panel have pending corruption cases against them.. Prashant Bhushan and Shanti Bhushan have accumulated wealth beyond their reach... Now tell me how we are supposed to endorse these self proclaimed leaders... It is just horrible...

The first thing the civil society did ....that they removed corruption cases against justice system out of Lokpal's reach.. in compensation to the govt. ... they removed PMO out of the picture ..so if that is the case.. then what is wrong with CBI.. CBI is an autonomous agency with power to do exactly that what this modified Lokpal bill is all about..

I just don't get why we want to change our CBI into some lame Lokpal... as both  have the same function...
Anna Hazare and all other people who don't have work to do like filmstars are fighting up for corruption ...but I don't see a point of erecting a multi lac bucks pandal at heart of our capital to do a hunger strike that too of not eating solid food... and who will complain to Lokpal ...people who try using Right to Information are burned alive or gutted out...so do you think these corrupted people will leave you..or do your work ...Naah!!

In short:
Lokpal bill >Good
Jan lokpal Bill > Very good
Bill - (Judiciary)- (PMO)= CBI  and you know how it is :P....

and btw if you are adventure frenzy...do pay a visit to my friend's Henrik Stigell website ... Do visit his website ..he will feel happy and you will love the blog.....

Shades

Going by the title of my blog.. I guess you will be thinking about something shady going around.. but you are wrong... I was going through a market search for buying my next sunglasses and landed on some awesome websites...

There were so much variety and so many reviews … I was all baffled up…there I landed up on Nytimes review of great sunshades and there I got to know about the online company started as NY startup ..Warby Parker…  I just clicked on the link and landed on varieties of shades…

It is company started by David Gilboa and his three B- school, Neil Blumenthal, Andrew Hunt and Jeffrey Raider.  They want a revolution in selling shades… and going by their website I was pretty pleased too… There were like dozens of design and each one was unique in its own way… As you I have a pretty high expectations from companies selling sunglasses… my amazement here can make you understand how stylish there were and how easy they were to be chosen…

I thought of doing some shopping for my lady and I chose a pretty neat design for her…Dark tortoise...it has tortoise eye glasses frame ...kind of like her eyes.. and will definitely accentuate her big eyes . I think that will enhance her  bossy look …hehehehe… You can try that the website out yourself… and they will be well within your range too… and yeah!! The shipping is free and you have 30 days trial period… Amazing isn’t…

And do chose a shade for me... ;-)

Wikileaks, India and Latest scandals

Ok!! As I promised.. I am back again... after so long.. Wikileaks have started focusing on India.... In last three days they released 8 cables...
Wikibomb 1: Congress bought MPs for 2008 trust vote.
US cable suggests MPs from Ajit Singh's RLD were paid Rs. 10 crore each by the Congress during the 2008 trust vote.
Wikibomb 2: P. Chidambaram's son and Azhagiri bribed voters
US cable claims DMK's Azhagiri paid Rs 5000 per voter in Thirumangalam. Karti Chidambaram is quoted as saying that it is impossible to distribute the money when the villages are spread so far apart in 2009 LS polls.
Wikibomb 3: The Afzal Guru dilemma
US cable sent on Oct 20, 2006 highlights Congress' fear of losing Muslim votes in UP if Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru is hanged.
Wikibomb 4: India, US face-off on sharing 26/11 info with Pak
US embassy cables claim Delhi tried to fend off US pressure on information sharing, before relenting.
Wikibomb 5: PM isolated on Pakistan
Cables claim that a US envoy after meeting NSA M.K. Narayanan was driven to the conclusion that PM was isolated within his own government over Pakistan.
Wikibomb 6: Pro-US tilt in cabinet shuffle
US cables sent by David Mulford claimed that the 2006 cabinet reshuffle had a pro-US tilt.
Wikibomb 7: West Asia policy hostage to Muslim vote
US cables stated that the UPA's policy towards West Asia is dictated by its anxiety to keep Muslims in good humour.
Wikibomb 8: Elitist Congress unwilling to engage with masses

Now tell me.... which things you don't already know????...

# Horse-trading... A common term used for bribing parliamentarians for voting... it is going on for ages.. you know before every trust vote.. each party locks down their MPs or MLAs..with girls and booze in guesthouses...under tight security..so that they can't interact with other political dealer or lobbyist ...so what's new in that....everybody knew that then Govt. survived the trust vote by bribing...and do you know what Pranab Mukherjee said.. he said that it was then govt. and it is not this govt.'s duty to investigate... and nor they are liable.. even then and now.. the faces running the Govt. are same...I guess there accountability just vanishes with every election....

# Bribing voters... lol.... We are so proud of our Indian democracy... do you know in our democracy ..majority voters are from the villages and small towns... ??? and do you know that how much each vote cost... Just a bottle of foreign liquor in towns and Local liquor in villages...??? So what!!! each election .. tons of illegal liquor is distributed...

# Afzal Guru...lol..somebody comes and strip our prestige in worldwide..killing soldiers and guards... attacking the parliament ...though corrupted but symbol of our democracy.. and he is sitting there smiling in jail.. why??? coz whoever comes in power .. start thinking of minority votes...do you think Indian muslims are all pro terrorism??? No....!!!! I know they all too want him hanged.. coz keeping him alive and giving the excuse that muslims endorse him.. insults them too...coz they are also Indians...

# About India's foreign policy against Pakistan... do you know India lost 1000s of troops and billions of currency when our Govt. decided to put them on border just after attack on parliament and then the govt. decided to go soft and ask them to return back...?? India has the poor foreign policy...and hen it comes to Pakistan.. it becomes more poor.. coz it fluctuates with every election.... and you know why ...:)...yeah!! minority appeasement.. and that is what guiding India's policy towards west Asia too....

# And about India being Pro-US... lol..somebody has to finance the election... if they have to win by bribing the voters... and US has Dollars... and everyone in India loves Dollars.. :D

So!!!! as Mr. Abhishek Manu Singhvi said....Govt. is not there to run and investigate every time Wikileaks publishes something... .. Yes!! Mr. Congress Spokesman!!! our Democracy runs on these principles and we certainly don't need to investigate the truth that we all know...But I am sure.. not very far is the time.. when people in India will know the corrupt faces and hang them with their votes...

PS: The excerpts are taken from HT .. India Today...I will be in touch with more Wikileaks expose...

Rising above own shadow ...

Sometimes you feel movies have magic… you feel so deeply engrossed... that you see as if the things are happening in real. “The King’s Speech” is indeed a magical experience. People were whispering that Academy awards are biased but I will certainly say that the movie was no less than bliss… each and every phase… each and every phrase were so eloquently poised that this movie gets an aura…

I was appreciative of James Franco’s presentation of ordeal and rooted for his Oscar and was postponing watching the “The King’s Speech” for so long… I was annoyed of Colin Firth’s recognition as the winner of the Best Actor in Academy awards … but not anymore…

Colin Firth played the role of the lifetime… he was so real with his stammer… his anxiousness to be the King and not able to deliver was so believable …that now I feel I should bow to his acting capabilities… though if you have watched “The single man” you must be his fan already…Geoffrey Rush was no less… but all above I should salute Tom Hooper for creating the classic as what Tom Hanks was explaining about…
The movie is not about some speech adjustments… it is movie about the struggle of a king to deliver to his own people… be rightful to one’s duties… shoulder the responsibilities be it whatever… and you can relate it with everything in your life…

This movie is about rising above what people feel about you… you be black… you be small… you be fat... but you need to love and admire yourself first… you should not feel frightened of your own shadow… you have to rise above good and bad…you need to see yourself from a true friend’s eyes… and you will see that you are indeed beautiful… you are what you are … and you are no less than people around you… if they don’t appreciate you… you just need to turn the page and find someone who is true to you… be it love… be it a friend …

This movie is an inspiration… and if you haven’t seen it… then find yourself a copy fast… as being late won’t harm but you will be indeed be late to feel the bliss I am feeling now… I am writing this with the Original score of the movie running in backdrop… and even if I am true AR Rehman fan… I must say that even Beethoven would have felt proud hearing the sound of Piano and Violins making the sweet symphony …
Above all ... the movie made my day…

Road trip from Chennai to Pondicherry

Very rarely a north guy gets a fully paid travel plan to South… I called my junior who is more like my buddy… ..I met him while playing counter strike in IT BHU LAN….and soon we grew up to be drinking buddies now we are very close and he is like my li’l bro… Oh Ladies!! He is in IBM Chennai and Electrical Engineering pass out and right now single..so he is a hot shot.. tall..handsome and eligible and I know he will be dark in few years if he continues to not use sunscreen in Chennai…
He suggested for a Bike trip to Pondicherry.. and as you all know how crazy I am about bikes.. I immediately said.. Yes!!! He bought a new 220 cc Pulsar… and I was waiting for a long drive on it..as I have 150 cc..and I rarely use it for long drives…

After my Tirupati trip.. I booked a bus to Chennai..Chennai trip was full of mixed feelings…on the way to Chennai ..I lost my Camera.. So I got down from the bus.. stupid bus conductor didn’t even refund my money as I got down within 5 minutes…and there I realized that what a moron they are.. they didn’t even flinched to help me.. rather they were scolding me for wasting their time… I had a different opinion of Andhra guys.. and there I realized they are the most unhelpful fu***rds you will meet.. but anyways I caught another bus to Chennai…

I reached Chennai at 8:30 pm where Saurav ( Saurav Chopra my buddy) called me.. that he will come and pick me up.. we struggled a lot for the way to his house as he never came to bus stand before… but anyways we reached at his place … and then we drank and ate like crazy.. I met two more junis of my Institute (Sachin- a complete drunk fun package and Abhi- Harry potter fan)… We drank till late then we rode on our bike to nearest tea stall at 1 am and I was tripling on 100 km/hr… it was fun.. I came back and went to bed immediately ..we planned our Pondy trip at 5am and as you might have guessed we woke up at 9.. there I realized he didn’t have his bike papers yet… so we had to take a detour to city.. we collected the papers.. ate 3 puris for Rs 30…. And then we moved towards Pondicherry…

Chennai to Pondicherry is 155 KM on ECR ( East coast road)… the road is awesome and the view is magnificent.. I took the driver seat as I was not feeling comfortable sitting behind on the bike.. so I practically rode all the way….ECR road is beautiful road with lush greeneries on both side and occasionally you will get the glimpse of the mighty sea on your left… the feeling is just beyond my words…  ECR road is like butter.. no bumps.. no bumpers.. but there are occasional road blocks.. so you  just have to watch the signs… I was riding at an average speed of 85 Km/hr … and occasionally was touching 105.. the max speed I touched was 112 km/hr…

We stopped at Kovalam… it is beach near Chennai.. it is beautiful beach with practically no crowd.. and very few people know about it… we stopped and played in water before moving out… the sea was very calm there… Oh Btw I bought A new NIKON camera in Chennai… So this time I have lots of pics of the trip…..

Then the next stop was Mamallapuram… it is a temple city .. of Lord Vishnu.. and with beautiful stone works..each temple was a piece of excellent architecture with whole new level of beauty.. We stopped to take pics and then we decided to get the Darshan of Lord Vishnu in his temple…. It was peaceful.. we moved on the Pondicherry….

The road trip is exciting but it has a serious drawback.. that sooner or later you will feel your leg all jammed up… so we had to take few stops but we made it a rule that we stop in places where I can get my tea and my buddy can lit up his cigarettes.. Oh btw!! I quit smoking.. if you don’t know…

We reached Pondy in the evening… we were very excited…and wanted to spend a lot of time in beach..bathing.. there we realized Pondy doesn’t have a single decent beach… it is a port town.. and the nearest beach ..Auro Beach is like 6 km away from city… so we took a u turn and headed towards the beach…

We were searching for beach Shacks so that we can drink beer near the sea.. but all of the beach Shacks were all full and the empty one don’t give entry to Indians.. fucking slaves… they still worship their masters even after independence.. we were frustrated… so we decided to book a motel on the road.. there came our rescuer.. he was a fisherman’s son and he told me that he know a beach shack hotel.. but it is always empty as it is in fishermen village.. and people don’t stay there.. so we moved towards it… it was a decent place.. though the nearby environment was reeking with smells of rotten fish sludge.. but who cares….I live in North India where people worship cow dung and think it holy…. Trip to Tirupati

I was fortunate enough to visit Lord Ventashwera last Wednesday...but the trip was tough and hard for me and I lost my camera on the way back ... and lost all the pics that I took in remembrance of the trip...

I faced a lot of trouble reaching there..but God was always there with me and I am feeling him right now too.... ..so sharing few tips with you along with the trip.....

1) People up-north have this notion that south people are not cooperative.. but I should say I have a mixed response... they were completely uncooperative when they heard I lost my camera in the bus and literally shoved me away.. but whenever I asked the direction... people did help me.. so if you need the direction just say "Anna" " Way" and " Name of the place" ..like "Anna way bus Chennai"... They are poor in Hindi and indeed poor in English too ..and I don't blame them..their education system is very poor and their government are to blamed for that... so it is not they don't like north ones..they don't understand the north ones..

2) Book your trip with travel agencies.. they have special channel to let you in and lodging boarding and everything else...it is 2 hours form Vellore and 4 hours from Chennai and 6 hours from Bangalore

3) But if you are traveling alone or in group and don't wanna book then you must know...best way is climb up the hill walking and you can get the dharshanam fast...

4) Now!! Tirupati is the place where you can start but it is not holy site.. it is 27 kms up in hills ...the holy place is called as Tirumala. You can either stay in Tirupati and then move to Tirumala or you can just go to Tirumala..they have excellent boarding facilities.. but it is better to book earlier via their website.. but they have spot booking too..  you get down from Tirumala bus stand and walk towards CRO office..they do the booking.....it is Rs. 350 refundable deposit and Rs 50 rent per room for 24 hours....otherwise you can stay in dormitories .. they call it PAC... PAC 3 is new and is best... where they have lockers which you can get by refundable deposit of Rs. 350.. and mat and rags for Rs 150 refundable deposit...Single guys don't get rooms..they only get lockers.. so don't bother for booking a room.

5) There are multiple ways for Darshanam... Free, Rs. 50 and Rs. 300... you have to book your ticket in all three categories... The free darshan and Rs. 50 can be booked from Tirupati bus stands .. they have many counters in all adjoining towns plus you can book via internet.. they have biometric scanning for identification.Rs. 300 ticket can only be booked from Tirumala counters.... Free darshan normally  takes 12-15 hours and sometime on rush day can take up to 36 hours...but sometimes you can get Darshanam earlier if it is not too rushy.. Paid darshan normally takes an hour or 3 tops..depending on the rush...I will suggest you to book earlier...before coming to Tirumala.

6) It is better to stand in queue from night if you want a fast darshanam...temple closes at 1 am till 4 am.. so be sure to queue up earlier...

7) If you can speak tamil.. you can influence the guards with bribes to get a rapid darshan...:D..I bribed one for Rs. 200 and got my Darshanam in two hours via free line... :D..god forgive me...but you ain't  lucky always..

8) There is a laddoo counter ..where you can buy coupon for Rs. 20 for two Prasadam laddoos..you can book 2 each for each of the member in your group...if you want more.. you can buy for 4 for Rs 100 or you can buy in black at a rate of 4 for Rs 140.

9) There are 6 more places in Tirumala ...which you can ride by either temple bus or by booking a jeep.. they are picturesque places and worth visiting...it takes Rs 100 to 150 per person.

10) Do visit Varaheshwara before Lord Venkateshwara and if possible Vaishno devi before that..Don't forget to Visit Devi Padmavati's temple in Tirupati...as no Darshan is complete without that...you need to donate in Hundi as mythology says.. that lord took loan from Kuber and we are needed to pay for his debt and he will grant our wish. The donation of hair.. is also a ceremony which has mythological value..  there is a story behind that...

The rishis headed by Kasyapa began to perform a sacrifice on the banks of the Ganges. Sage Narada visited them and asked them why they were performing the sacrifice and who would be pleased by it. Not being able to answer the question, the rishis approached Sage Bhrigu. To reach a solution after a direct ascertainment of reality, Sage Bhrigu first went to Satyaloka, the abode of Lord Brahma. At Satyaloka, he found Lord Brahma, reciting the four Vedas in praise of Lord Narayana, with each of his four heads, and attended upon by Saraswati. Lord Brahma did not take notice of Bhrigu offering obeisance. Concluding that Lord Brahma was unfit for worship, Bhrigu left Satyaloka for Kailasa, the abode of Lord Shiva. At Kailasa, Bhrigu found Lord Siva spending his time pleasantly with Parvati and not noticing his presence. Parvati drew the attention of Siva to the presence of the sage.Lord Siva was furious at Bhrigu's intrusion and tried to destroy him. The sage cursed Lord Siva and left for Vaikuntam. At Vaikuntam, Lord Vishnu (also called Srimannarayana) was reposing on Adisesha with Sri Mahalakshmi in service at His feet. Finding that Srimannarayana also did not notice him, the sage was infuriated and he kicked the Lord on His chest, the place where Mahalakshmi resides. At once, Lord Vishnu hastened to apologise to the angry sage and pressed his feet to allay the pain caused to Bhrigu's leg. In doing so the Lord removed the eye in the foot of the sage, which gave Bhrigu power as to defy the Devas. Thereupon, the sage decided that Lord Vishnu was the most supreme of the trimurthis and told the rishis the same. Thereupon, they decided that Lord Vishnu was the fruit of the yaga. Sri Mahalakshmi was angered by the action of her Lord in apologising to Bhrigu who committed an offence. She, therefore, left Vaikuntam without heeding the entreaties of the Lord.At the commencement of the current Sveta Varaha Kalpa, the whole universe was filled with water and the Earth was immersed in it. Lord Vishnu assumed the form of a white boar (Sri Varaha) and dived into the water to lift the Earth. He slew the demon Hiranyaksha who was obstructing Him and rescued the Earth.Brahma and the other Devas praised Sri Varaha for saving the Earth by chanting the Vedas and showering flowers on Him. Lord Vishnu decided to stay on Earth in the form of Sri Varaha for some time, to punish the wicked and protect the virtuous. The place then came to be known as Varaha Kshetra and the Varaha Kalpa commenced. After the departure of Mahalakshmi, a forlorn Lord Vishnu left Vaikuntam and took abode in an ant-hill under a tamarind tree, beside a pushkarini on the Venkata Hill . Taking pity on Lord Vishnu, Brahma and Maheshwara decided to assume the forms of a cow and its calf to serve Him. Surya, the Sun God informed Mahalakshmi of this and requested her to assume the form of a cowherdess and sell the cow and calf to the king of the Chola country. The king of the Chola country bought the cow and its calf and sent them to graze on the Venkata Hill along with his herd of cattle. Discovering Lord Vishnu on the ant-hill, the cow provided its milk, and thus fed the Lord.Meanwhile, at the palace, the cow was not yielding any milk, for which the Chola Queen chastised the cowherd severely. To find out the cause of lack of milk, the cowherd followed the cow, hid himself behind a bush and discovered the cow emptying her udder over the ant-hill. Incensed over the conduct of the cow, the cowherd aimed a blow with his axe on the head of the cow. However, Lord Vishnu rose from the ant-hill to receive the blow and save the cow. When the cowherd saw the Lord bleed at the blow of his axe, he fell down and died of shock. On the death of the cowherd, the cow returned, bellowing in fright and with blood stains all over her body, to the Chola King. To find out the cause of the cow's terror, the King followed her to the scene of the incident. The King found the cowherd lying dead on the ground near the ant-hill. While he stood wondering how it had happened, Lord Vishnu rose from the ant-hill and cursed the King saying that he would become an Asura because of the fault of his servant. The King pleaded innocence, and the Lord blessed him by saying that the curse would end when the Lord was adorned with a kireetam presented by Akasa Raja at the time of His marriage with Sri Padmavati. Thereafter, Lord Vishnu or Srinivasa, decided to stay in Varaha Kshetra, and requested Sri Varahaswami to grant Him a site for His stay. His request being readily granted, Srinivasa ordained that a pilgrimage to His shrine would not be complete unless it is preceded by a bath in the Pushkarini and darshan of Sri Varahaswami, and that puja and naivedyam should be offered to Sri Varahaswami first. Yasoda brought up Sri Krishna, the son of Devaki, in his early years. However, Yasoda was not blessed to witness the marriage of Sri Krishna with Rukmini and she felt very sad. Sri Krishna promised to fulfil her desire in her next birth as Vakuladevi in his next avatara as Srinivasa. In Rukmini's next birth as Vakuladevi, she was serving Lord Varahaswami when He sent her to serve Srinivasa. Sometime later, a King named Akasa Raja who belonged to the Lunar race was ruling over Thondamandalam. He had a brother named Thondaman. Akasa Raja had no heirs, and therefore, he wanted to perform a sacrifice. As part of the sacrifice, he was ploughing the fields when his plough turned up a lotus in the ground. On examining the lotus, the King found a female child in it.  Akasa Raja was happy to find the child. He carried it to his palace and gave it to his Queen. At that time he heard a voice from above which said, "Oh! King, tend to it as your child and fortune will befall you." As the child was found in a lotus, the king named her Padmavati.  In course of time, Princess Padmavati grew up into a beautiful maiden and was attended to by a host of maids. One day, while she was spending her time in a garden picking flowers with her maids, Sage Narada approached her. Assuring her that he was her well-wisher, he asked her to show him her palm to read her future. He foretold that she was destined to be the spouse of Lord Vishnu himself.  At this time, Lord Srinivasa, who was hunting, chased a wild elephant in the forests surrounding the hills. In the elephant's pursuit, the Lord was led into a garden, where Princess Padmavati and her maids were picking flowers. The sight of the elephant frightened the Princess and her maids.. But the elephant immediately turned around, saluted the Lord and disappeared into the forest. Lord Srinivasa, who was following on horse back, and saw the frightened maidens, who accosted Him with queries.Lord Srinivasa gave the maids details about his birth and parentage. He, in turn, enquired after their princess, her birth and parentage. When the maids informed Lord Srinivasa that the princess was Padmavati, foster daughter of Akasa Raja, He expressed his interest in her. However, He was repulsed with stones thrown at Him by the maids. He returned to the hills in haste, leaving His horse behind. When Lord Srinivasa returned, Vakuladevi brought him his usual dinner comprising various delicacies. However, she found him lying on his bed, pining for his love. When she enquired about the cause, the Lord informed her that unless he married Princess Padmavati, he would never be well again. Vakuladevi then asked Him to tell her all about the Princess. The Lord then narrated the story of her (Padmavati’s) previous birth and his promise to wed her.In olden times, Lakshmi, in the form of Vedavati, was staying in an ashram in the forests. At that time, Ravana, the lord of Lanka tried to tempt her. In anger, Vedavati cursed him saying that she would bring about his death. To show how true her words were, Vedavati walked into the fire, but Agni, the Fire God rescued her. He took Vedavati to his house and entrusted her to his wife's care. When Ravana was about to carry away Sita from Panchavati, in the absence of Rama and Lakshmana, Agni appeared and offered Vedavati to Ravana as the real Sita who was kept with him by Rama to evade Ravana. Ravana was tricked into thinking that Vedavati was the real Sita.Ravana took Vedavati to Lanka thinking she was the real Sita, while Agni took Sita to his house and asked his wife Swahadevi to look after her. After the destruction of Ravana, Vedavati entered the fire when rejected by Rama. Then, Agni, offered the real Sita to Rama. Rama then questioned her as to who the other lady by her side was. Sita informed Rama that the lady was Vedavati who endured Ravana's torture for ten months in Lanka for her sake. Sita requested Rama to accept Vedavati also as his spouse. But Rama declined her request saying that he believed in having only one wife during his life time. However, He promised to wed her in her next birth as Padmavati, born as the daughter of Akasa Raja, when Rama himself would take the form of Srinivasa. After listening to Srinivasa's story of how he had promised to marry Vedavati in her next birth as Padmavati, Vakuladevi realised that Srinivasa would not be happy unless he married Padmavati. She offered to go to Akasa Raja and his Queen and arrange for the marriage. On the way she met the maid-servants of Padmavati returning from a Siva Temple. She learnt from them that Padmavati was also pining for Srinivasa. Vakuladevi went along with the maidservants to the Queen.  Meanwhile, Akasa Raja and his queen Dharanidevi were anxious about the health of their daughter, Padmavathi. They learnt about Padmavathi's love for Srinivasa of Venkata Hill. Akasa Raja consulted Brihaspati about the propriety of the marriage and was informed that the marriage was in the best interest of both the parties. After the departure of Vakuladevi, Srinivasa could not rest in peace. He doubted if she would succeed in her mission. He, therefore, assumed the form of a lady fortune-teller and entered the streets of the capital telling fortunes. Padmavathi's maids saw her and invited her to the presence of their Queen.  The maid-servants informed Queen Dharanidevi that the fortune-teller was hesitating to enter the palace without the Queen's invitation. The Queen came out herself and invited the fortune-teller into the palace. The fortune- teller was taken to the presence of Princess Padmavati. The fortune-teller read the palm of the Princess and told the Queen about the cause of Padmavati's indisposition. She advised the Queen to give Padmavati in marriage to Lord Srinivasa. She also told the Queen that a lady would approach her shortly on behalf of Lord Srinivasa, to formally request Padmavati's hand in marriage. After the departure of the fortune-teller, Vakuladevi arrived at the palace, and was taken by the maidservants to the Queen. She informed the Queen that she had come on behalf Lord Srinivasa to request the hand of Padmavati in marriage. Having consulted Brihaspati and heard from his Queen about the prediction of the fortune-teller and the arrival of the messenger from Srinivasa, Akasa Raja decided to hand his daughter in marriage to Srinivasa. He asked the palace purohits to fix a muhurtam for the marriage.Akasa Raja informed his ministers and other officials of his plans. Immediately, a letter was drafted requesting Srinivasa to come and marry the Princess. Akasa Raja entrusted the delivery of the letter to Sukamahamunin. Suka went to the Venkata Hill with Vakuladevi. He presented the patrika to Lord Srinivasa, who was very happy. The Lord sent his garland for Padmavati through Suka. Kubera lent money to Lord Srinivasa to meet the expenses of the marriage.Lord Srinivasa, along with his consorts and Lord Brahma and Lord Siva started the journey to the residence of Akasa Raja with his vehicle Garuda. At the palace entrance, Lord Srinivasa was received by Akasa Raja with full honours and taken in procession on a mounted elephant to the palace for the marriage. In the presence of all the Devas, Lord Srinivasa wed Princess Padmavati, thus blessing Akasa Raja. And Mahalakshmi still stays in his heart as the marriage of Padmavati and Srinivasa is for eternity.

9) We donate money to pay the debt to Lord Kubera about the money he loaned and we donate hairs to hid the wound that Srinivasa got in head while hit by cowherd ...Newly wed couples should go to Tirupati to get blessings of Lord Venkateshwara for  marriage lasting till eternity...

10) Elderly and handicapped people gets early entry...and try booking earlier in all cases...No entry for people of other religion in the temple.. but Tirumala hill they can visit always..

I hope...it helped..if you have any query you can ask me in comment section.. and I will try to answer as best as I can....So say Jai Govinda!!!.. Om Namah Venkateshawaraya Namah!!
